AL JAWF AIRPORT

The Al-Jawf Regional Airport project in Saudi Arabia, awarded to ZFP by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in April 2012, involves the design and development of the existing airport. ZFP’s role includes reviewing the master plan, creating three conceptual design alternatives for the main terminal, and developing the preferred design to the final stage. The project covers a built-up area of approximately 25,000 m2 for the main terminal and support facilities, located on a site area of 11,000,000 m2. The proposed development includes a main terminal, VIP terminal, department offices, medical clinic, customs building, air traffic control tower, rescue and firefighting services building, explosive detection and disposal building, permanent command building, accommodations, airport maintenance building, mosque, roads, and infrastructure, enhancing airport operations and passenger experience to meet international standards.
